Tour of  South Coast Plaza and Bear Plaza

OC Guide Dogs is excited to welcome you to a tour of  South Coast Plaza and Bear Plaza on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  As a group, we will walk through both the Bristol and Bear Plazas, while the staff familiarizes us to various new stores, restaurants, and VIP lounges, while pinpointing some key sensory indicators to help the group navigate the center with help from their guide dogs.  In addition, staff will provide us a brief overview of the best entrances and exits, emergency evacuation procedures, customer elevators, and designated restroom areas for both us and our guide dogs.

If you take an Access bus, a Security Officer from South Coast Plaza will greet and usher you from the Bristol-Town Center bus stop to the tour meeting location.  If you have transportation or are driving yourself, park on the Bristol side and meet at the Claim Jumper Restaurant Entrance, 3333 Bristol, #2078, INSIDE.  After the tour, we will dine at the Claim Jumper Restaurant at 11:30 on the patio.  The average cost per entrée at Claim Jumper is between $15 and $20.

TIME:  If driving, meet at Claim Jumper Restaurant at 8:30 a.m.

If taking an Access bus, destination is the Bristol-Town Center Stop, Costa Mesa.  Stop ID is 1143, Buses 55 and 57 en route to South Coast Plaza.  Look for Security Guard.

Outing ends at approximately 1:30 p.m. at Claim Jumper Restaurant.
