BARD is the Library of Congress site that supplies America’s blind population with reading materials. It offers both recorded and Braille texts.

This is an outstanding book about a puppy’s first year of life. It doesn’t have much to do with the specifics of raising a puppy to be a dog guide but puppy raisers might still find it interesting and enjoyable and handlers might appreciate the teachings about dog cognition.
