OC Guide Dogs Chapter Meeting | January 25, 2025

Dear Members, Raisers and Volunteers:

Please join us for our regular meeting scheduled for Saturday January 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Dayle McIntosh Center, 501 North Brookhurst in Anaheim.  Our speaker will be Sandy Dubin. Sandy has been a Court Reporter by trade since 1980, and enjoys playing billiards twice a week.  Her other passion is therapy dog volunteerism.  She is a “Pet Partner”  therapy dog evaluator and instructor and has been a therapy dog handler since 1999.  This also led to her volunteering with hospice and a program called NODA, No One Dies Alone, at her neighborhood hospital.  She loves advocating for the service dog community by educating people about the differences between therapy animals and service animals.

We encourage you to tell your Access driver to drop you at the side entrance, the north side of the building, closer to Crescent.  That entrance has ramps and is easier to navigate and is closer to the relieving area.

We will offer coffee and refreshments as well as time to catch up with one another.

Volunteers and greeters will be stationed at both Access drop off points to provide assistance.
