Going to the movies should be an amazing experience to share with family and friends. That’s why we are excited to help announce the launch of new movie tech from Actiview that is designed to make movies more accessible for people who are blind and/or hard of hearing. They are launching this tech in conjunction with the launch of Disney-Pixar’s Cars 3, which will be shown in theaters across the U.S. starting Friday.
Actiview’s tech currently delivers audio description and amplified audio, with captions and languages coming soon. Instructions for downloading the app AND Cars 3 assistive audio (you’ll need both) are provided below.
The good folks at Actiview are genuinely interested in leveling the playing field and providing entertainment for all. They hope you’ll give their app/tech a whirl AND that you’ll offer your feedback so they can keep evolving and enhancing it!
